A star, a star , shining in the night....

...that will bring us wisdom and light..


I awoke the other night to one bright star shining into our bedroom at 3 am! Photo above! (found out later it was a star called Saturn~ one of the brightest planets in our solar system)
Instantly I thought of the song that had been in my heart for weeks about the star shining in the night and I got up to read the Christmas story after re stoking the fire and fixing a nice cup of rose hip and honey tea. It was my own little "cup of Christmas tea" that I traditionally have Christmas morning before anyone else is up. What are your special traditions for Christmas or Hanukkah ?

Hopefully we will all take time to read and reflect on the CHRIST-mas story afresh ! ~ May we all be drawn to worship Jesus, the Messiah, just like the shepherds and the wise men and ponder all these things in our hearts like Mary.

I am praying for all my friends and loved ones and even those reading this that I have not met that GOD'S "morning Star~ JESUS" will shine brightly in all our lives especially this Christmas and into the New Year~no matter how dark the night. Actually , the darker the night~ the brighter the light will shine. JUST LOOK UP!~ and GOD will guide us to HIS light and love but we must search with a believing heart and let Him in.

Thankful for..

What are you most thankful for??
This year my list is just too long....but to give you the top few I would say:
~GOD'S amazing , unconditional LOVE
~My family ~ including the sweet baby in the picture above~ my dear grand baby ELEONORA
~our warm fireplace that I hope to sit by often reading to and with my family and hopefully that
adorable grandbaby soon. (No plans are in the making but I am hoping and dreaming!)
I am also thankful for each of my precious friends far and near ~ old and new

Greetings loved ones!

GRACE and Joy to you! Can you feel the water rising and do you even know what I mean?
The bible prophecies are coming to pass in light speed and only because I know these are the end times and because I remain in the word ( Psalm 1 ) can I keep my sanity!
We overcome in this life by the blood of the Lamb and the WORD of our testimony!
GOD IS FAITHFUL!!!!
THIS year alone I have lived a whole life and GOD has done much healing and revealing and WOW ~ what a ride~ but I have bumps and bruises to prove it~ body ,mind and spirit. In fact ~ I am still in constant pain from fracturing, bruising, and spraining my low back ( sacrum) and staining the muscles and ligaments up and down my back from a fall cleaning my bathroom ceiling and falling on the thin metal strip on the shower door frame! ( TRIPLE OUCH!!) SO THANKFUL I DID NOT BREAK BONES OR GET PARALYZED~ I am actually healing quite quickly from what happened!)
PRAISE GOD and HIS healing touch and guidance ( psalm 32.:8) Castor Oil is a wonder!!!
Two other major injuries back in March ( a bike accident and one week later an 8 ft. steel pole falling on my skull in the Hardware store !) Yes I had a concussion and major trauma to my back but GOD seems to be using it all to heal old injuries from when I was young including the car accident in 1966 that started most of my health challenges~ WHAT a gift that day was causing me to have to go to GOD first and foremost for ALL MY HEALING! Trusting you do to !
I was "stuck" in CA through circumstances ~ some listed above and other issues and GOD keeps showing me HIS GRACE as He makes me more like HIS SON ( Romans 8:28-29) but I HAVE a LONG WAY TO GO!!! So many days I feel like a failure in all areas of my life but just like a parent watching their children...
GOD SEES US AS WE CAN BE~ BUT LOVES US AS WE ARE!!!

May you too feel GOD's AMAZING UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND GRACE !!!

It has been a hard winter for Eleonora's health and personally for me also
yet GOD has been so faithful to help and encourage us all and
as that sweet girl approaches her 1st birthday in a few weeks she is smiling and bringing such Joy to her parents and all who meet her and amazes the Drs. Do keep lifting them as as God leads...
