Eleonora's back home!

Eleonora's surgery on Friday went well , replacing her feeding tube with one that will not need surgery in the future when it is no longer needed. Because of a combination or too much medications to control pain after the surgery, Eleonora stopped breathing and her heart rate dropped. It was quite a traumatic time for this little family and Eleonora had to be hooked up to all kinds of monitors and tubes and given another medication to reverse the effects of the first ones . Thankfully , all calmed down and she slowly returned to normal as the day progressed and Philipp and Sarah were able to stay by her side and sleep ( take turns) in the room with her all night.
She recovered so well by Saturday that they were able to all return home together Saturday night.
It is well, VERY well with our souls!
Lovingly,
Gran~Momie Ruthie
